Due to the impacts of Hurricane Ian in Florida, resulting in the closure of Port Canaveral and the anticipated impact on ground and air transportation in Central Florida, the Disney Wish will extend it’s current sailing and is now estimated to return to Port Canaveral on Saturday, or Sunday depending on when the U.S. Coast Guard determines the port is safe for vessels and there is a terminal available.
Earlier today, the U.S. Coast Guard set the port condition at Port Canaveral to YANKEE.
Port Condition YANKEE will be set in Port Canaveral. No vessel, regardless of size or service, will be allowed to transit through Port Canaveral upon the setting of Port condition YANKEE unless authorized by the Captain of the Port.
UPDATE: As of 9/27/2022 24:00, the U.S. Coast Guard set the port condition at Port Canaveral to ZULU.
Port Condition ZULU will be set in Port Canaveral. No vessel, regardless of size or service, will be allowed to transit through the port, and all commercial vessels over 500 gross tons are prohibited from remaining in the port.
Commercial operations at Orlando International Airport (MCO) will cease at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 28th with the airport informing passengers to check with their respective airlines.
Guests onboard Disney Wish have been extended complimentary internet package to make to make any necessary travel changes. Additional information about the debarkation process will be distributed to guests later in the week.
