Netflix’s controversial erotic thriller “365 Days” was a massive hit, and its sequel, “365 Days: That Day,” confirmed the continued interest in the turbulent relationship between Laura and Massimo. With the second movie ending on a cliffhanger, fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a possible third installment. Here’s everything we know about “365 Days Part 3.”

Release Date

The good news is that Netflix has already confirmed “365 Days Part 3.” Following the success of the original movie, the sequels were filmed back-to-back by the same creative team, including author Blanka Lipinska. With the film already in the can and anticipation at its peak, it’s slated for release on August 19.

In addition, the third book, titled “The Next 365 Days,” is scheduled for an English translation in September 2022. While the previous movies didn’t strictly follow the book releases, it’s uncertain whether the plots will be coordinated this time around.

Cast

It goes without saying that Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone will return as Laura and Massimo since the story couldn’t continue without them. Nacho, who was revealed to be the son of a rival mafia boss in the second movie, will also make a comeback. Laura’s best friend, Olga (Magdalena Lamparska), and Massimo’s right-hand man, Domenica (Otar Saralidze), will likely reprise their roles, especially now that they are engaged.

While there may be appearances from other recurring characters, we don’t want to give away too much before the next section. Speaking of which…

Plot

The third book in the series, which received mixed reviews, has the following premise: “As the wife of Don Massimo Torricelli, one of Sicily’s most dangerous mafia bosses, Laura’s life is a rollercoaster. She’s often in danger and a potential target of Massimo’s ruthless enemies, who will stop at nothing to destroy the powerful man.”

“When Laura is gravely injured in an attack, pregnant and fighting for survival, Massimo faces the most difficult decision of his life. What will his life be like without Laura? Will he be able to raise their child alone? What will happen to his family, whose 365 days may be coming to an end?”

This may not sound like a direct continuation of what we’ve seen so far, so expect some changes. “That Day” was largely focused on addressing criticisms and reworking some of the more concerning elements of the first movie. It’s highly likely that the third installment will continue the established plot and character arcs.

Okay, so we learned that Nacho is the son of a rival mafia member, and his relationship with Laura was part of a scheme to replace Massimo with his more easily manipulated younger brother, Adriano. However, things didn’t go as planned, and a fatal confrontation occurred, leaving Laura, Anna, and Adriano wounded.

From here on, the destiny of everyone is uncertain. Laura will survive, but it seems Anna is lost. Adriano appears to have only suffered a shoulder injury, so he could make a comeback. Massimo, now aware that Nacho’s family caused the accident that resulted in the loss of their unborn child, will undoubtedly seek revenge. With Nacho having confessed his feelings for Laura and sparing Massimo’s life at the end of “That Day,” it seems like we’re headed towards a love triangle amidst a gang war.
