A Summary of the Adventure
A Step-by-Step Walkthrough
[Disclaimer: The following walkthrough is based on the perspective of a Year 7 student. Task requirements may vary depending on your progress in the main story]
Start the adventure by meeting Charlie at the Burrow when you’re ready.
Upon arrival, you’ll greet Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, who will be introduced to you if it’s your first time meeting them. They will explain that they are leaving on an urgent assignment that requires undercover work, with Mrs. Weasley posing as Mr. Weasley’s Muggle wife.
During their absence, Charlie, Percy, and you will be responsible for finishing some chores. Before they leave, Molly will advise you not to do anything she wouldn’t approve of and request that you maintain peace between Charlie and Percy. She will also remind you to ensure the Burrow remains untouched.
Once Mr. and Mrs. Weasley apparate away, Charlie will reveal his plan to take advantage of having the house to yourselves by throwing a party. Percy, however, will disapprove of this idea.
You’ll remember Molly’s words and ask Charlie to explain his reasons for wanting to throw the party. Charlie wants to impress his friends and showcase that he is more than just a boy who loves dragons.
After considering his explanation, you’ll agree to help Charlie throw the party, despite Percy’s reservations.
To convince Percy to change his mind, select the second option when given a choice. With Percy on board, you’ll all agree to keep the party small and secret from Mrs. Weasley.
Next, you’ll meet with Charlie in the courtyard to discuss party ideas. Your friend Penny will also join the conversation. Penny will ask if Percy is onboard with the party, which will depend on your previous conversation with Percy.
You’ll suggest narrowing down Charlie’s ideas, and to complete this task, you’ll need to earn five stars within three hours, with one star required to pass.
With party plans in motion, you’ll agree to handle obtaining the sweets, while Penny or Charlie will take care of the invitations. Your choice here will have no significant impact on the story.
To purchase the sweets, you’ll visit Honeydukes in Hogsmeade. Once there, you’ll encounter Ambrosius Flume, the owner of Honeydukes. If you’ve previously completed Flume’s Clues adventure, your choices will be referenced. Help Mr. Flume by solving his problem, earning five stars within three hours to complete the task.
To find the best sweets for the party, Mr. Flume will ask you if you prefer chocolate or non-chocolate sweets. Your choice will determine the type of sweet you get. You’ll then have the option to accept or change your selection.
After leaving Honeydukes, Percy will inform you that there are flyers all over Hogwarts advertising the party. Your response will depend on your previous conversation with Percy.
Realizing that the professors shouldn’t find out about the party, you’ll decide to remove the flyers promptly. Earn five stars within three hours to complete this task.
Despite successfully removing the flyers, news about the party has already spread. It becomes clear that the small gathering you initially planned will now be a full-blown event at the Burrow. Charlie is determined to make it the best party ever.
Next, you’ll discuss additional preparations with Penny and decide to seek Andre’s help. The adventure will continue in the next part.
