I was driving in the express lane on the freeway, and suddenly my phone rang. As I reached down beside me, I looked on the floor and felt on the backseat.
I realized I had been drinking while driving, never considering the consequences. I turned around, and before I knew it, a truck was headed straight towards me.
The doctor said I might not make it, and my family began making funeral arrangements, believing I was gone. However, a small voice said to me, “If you promise to stop drinking, you’ll be saved.” I made that promise, and for the past ten years, I have stayed true to it.

In another instance, I found myself sitting in a chair, waiting for a phone call that never seemed to come. I prayed to God, desperately hoping for a job opportunity. I was struggling to make ends meet, and my faith started to waver. Whenever someone mentioned God’s goodness, I couldn’t help but laugh.
But just when I had lost hope, a blessing came my way. The phone finally rang, and a lady on the other end said, “We’re hiring.” That’s when I realized God had saved me once again.
You saved me, and I’m grateful.
There was a time when I was on the streets, selling drugs and carrying a gun. I had no love for anyone, and I felt completely alone. My family and friends had abandoned me.
One day, a drug deal went wrong, and I got shot four times. I found myself on my knees, bleeding and fearing for my life. As I thought about my past actions, a small voice spoke to me, offering peace if I believed. I accepted Christ that day, and since then, I’ve been free.
You saved me, and I want to thank you.
Finally, I was at the grocery store when I felt a pain in my chest. I never expected to hear the devastating news that I had cancer. I called my mother, and she immediately got down on her knees to pray for me. Five years later, the pain was gone, and the doctor confirmed that my cancer was completely cured.
You saved me, Jesus.
Throughout all these experiences, you turned my life around when I was headed in the wrong direction. You lifted me up when I was down, and you forgave me for my mistakes. I had nothing to lose, but you saw my efforts and gave me a chance. You are the truth, and I am forever grateful.
