Our Hassle-Free Return Policy
At Ratingperson, we prioritize value, quality, and selection to ensure your utmost satisfaction with your purchase. Our goal is for you to enjoy every aspect of your shopping experience. However, if for any reason you need to return a product, we’ve got you covered! You can return most unused items within 90 days from the date of purchase for a refund or exchange (shipping costs excluded), unless otherwise specified below. We issue refunds to the original form of payment, unless the return is made in-store, where certain exclusions may apply.
Web Orders: Simple and Convenient
If you made your purchase online, please get in touch with our friendly customer service team at 1-888-626-7576. They will guide you through the return or exchange process, answer any questions you may have, and ensure that your request is properly documented. In most cases, you will be provided with a return authorization, and rest assured, we’ll keep an eye out for your return every step of the way.
Web Orders Returned In-Store: Return with Ease
For web orders that you prefer to return in-store, simply bring the item in its original packaging, along with the invoice, to any of our Camping World retail locations. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. Once your return is processed, refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, with some exclusions that may apply.
Retail Purchases with a Receipt: Full Refund or Exchange
If you made your purchase in-store with a receipt, returning the unused and unopened item is a breeze. Just bring it back to us along with the original sales receipt, and we’ll gladly provide you with a full refund or an exchange. If you have a gift receipt, don’t worry! You’ll receive a store credit equivalent to the item’s value at the time of purchase.
Retail Purchases without a Receipt: Store Merchandise Credit
If you no longer have your receipt, don’t fret! As long as the item is unused and unopened, we’ll issue a store merchandise credit for the lowest price within the last 90 days. Please ensure you have proper identification in the form of a valid, state-issued driver’s license or state ID card. While we reserve the right to limit or refuse returns without a receipt, we’ll do our best to assist you.
Good Sam Members: Extended Return Privileges
We value our Good Sam members and appreciate their loyalty. Members who have continuously maintained an active membership status are entitled to return any unused and unopened product purchased on Feb. 9, 2018, or later, at any time. Please note that some exclusions may apply, and membership needs to be active on the date of product purchase.
Good Sam Protection Plans: Convenient Solutions
For any Good Sam Protection Plan purchases, we make the return process a breeze. Simply bring your purchase back to the store, and our team will handle the processing for you. Alternatively, you can give us a call at 1-888-626-7576, and we’ll guide you through the necessary steps. Please note that purchases made with personal checks are subject to a 14-day hold period before they become eligible for return.
Exceptions & Exclusions: Keeping You Informed
We want to ensure complete transparency regarding our return policy. Here are some exceptions and exclusions to keep in mind:
- Non-returnable items include outboard motors, trolling motors, EPIRBs, boats, SPOT, life rafts, PLBs, Class B AIS, items with expiration dates, custom-made or special-order items, rigging, generators, electronic charts, mattresses, flares, hazardous items, licenses, and gift cards. If proven defective, please contact the manufacturer directly for returns or exchanges.
- Certain items, such as electronics, skateboards, bikes, software, bedding, canoes, tents, drones, and kayaks, can be returned within 30 days if they remain unopened and unused.
- After 30 days, if a product becomes defective, please contact the manufacturer directly for returns or exchanges.
- Clearance and Outlet items are sold as-is and cannot be returned under any circumstances.
- Once an item is installed, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. If the product becomes defective, please contact the manufacturer for assistance.
- Returns on items purchased with a promotional discount will be prorated, with the value of the discount, free product, or gift card deducted from the reimbursement. Items received as part of a free gift promotion can only be exchanged if damaged or defective, and a direct replacement will be provided. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to previous purchases.
