The xbox one is the 8th generation of games consoles starting with its release in 2013. It’s first year on sale was not so good to it as it was beaten by the PS4. But now that has changed and Microsoft has released an updated version which comes bundled with the well received Kinect sensor for motion control and a vastly improved second version of the Xbox One controller. The first person shooters library has really improved on this console with many new releases. So here are the top 10 Xbox One games 2015
In at number 10 is Project Cars from Slightly Mad Studios, this was released in May 2015 and features different cars from supercars to hatchbacks you will have to experience everything that there is to offer about these vehicles including their costs, fuel consumption etc. In the career mode you can play as a driver or a team manager which affects what extras you have available such as pit stops and the ability to alter how your car performs. This game also offers a multiplayer mode where you can race against other players online using voice chat which adds a new level of realism.

The next game on the list is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which releases May 19th. This game was one of the most anticipated games of 2015 with gamers like myself waiting for its release, it also won best RPG at this years Game Awards. The story starts off with Geralt finding out his past and him trying to find his place in life now he no longer has a profession as a Witcher. You explore many areas during the game that are filled with monsters and other characters like medieval towns, forests etc. You can also take part in monster hunting contracts where you receive payment for killing specific creatures or people depending on what you’re asked to do. Another feature of this game is that you can gather resources from around the map by dismantling items like weapons and armour this is then stored in your inventory until you find a blacksmith where you can take them to be converted into new items.

The gameplay consists of first person parkour style which involves climbing up buildings and jumping from roof top to roof top, this helps with avoiding the many zombies that roam around the map looking for little people such as yourself. You can also do parkour style moves such as wall running and climbing walls etc. This game does not offer online multiplayer but instead offers 4 player co-op which allows players to play through the campaign mode while completing objectives and getting to certain places.

You play as Venom Snake who wakes up from a 9 year coma after being attacked by unknown forces, he then starts to build his own private army called ‘Diamond Dogs’ in order to get revenge for what happened to him. This game features an open world environment where players are free to do whatever they want such as recruiting people from around the map, building custom bases and so forth. In online multiplayer you have the option of playing the story missions individually but also offers side missions that consist of taking down certain targets, infiltrating heavily guarded bases and rescuing hostages to name a few.
