Workshop Overview

Join our interactive online workshop on Wednesday, May 31 from 9:30am to 2pm IST. Gain valuable insights into blockchain technologies, sustainability, and design thinking. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from experts and explore innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Session 1: Overview of Blockchain and Design Thinking

In the first session (9:30am – 11am), attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of blockchain technologies, sustainability, and design thinking. This session is open to all participants, regardless of their expertise.

Session 2: Blockchain and Sustainability Challenge

The second session (11am – 2pm) is limited to the first 25 registered attendees. In this exclusive session, participants will work in small groups, leveraging their backgrounds and expertise to tackle a sustainability challenge. The groups will use a design thinking framework to develop solutions and present an elevator pitch of their innovative ideas.

Dr Trevor Clohessy

Dr Trevor Clohessy is an esteemed educator and researcher, with a Ph.D. in Digital Transformation and Business Modeling. He is widely recognized for his excellence in communication and has published articles in top-tier journals. With his extensive teaching experience, including at the University of Galway, Dr Clohessy brings a wealth of knowledge to our workshop. He is also the Chair of the Blockchain Ireland Education, Skills, and Innovation Working Group. Dr Clohessy’s expertise makes his insights invaluable.

Cróna O’Donoghue

Cróna O’Donoghue is a talented graphic designer, curator, and community engagement specialist. Her problem-solving skills and user-centered design approach have been instrumental in her successful career. Cróna’s experience in teaching and entrepreneurship brings a unique perspective to our workshop. She has taught at renowned institutions such as the Chelsea School of Art & Design and Central Saint Martins. Her creativity and comprehensive expertise are an invaluable asset.

Padraic Lynch

Padraic Lynch is a seasoned UX design expert and the leader of the Masters in UX Design & Applied Innovation program at ATU. With a focus on bridging academia and industry, Padraic brings practical insights into the workshop. His extensive experience in facilitating innovation teams and his background in Design Thinking at MIT make him a valuable resource. Apart from his professional endeavors, Padraic is passionate about coaching and community engagement.
