Literature enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover a compelling selection of books by Grace Livingston Hill, a popular early-20th-century writer, and Elmira College alumna, who pioneered the genre of Christian romance novels.
A Sale with a Purpose
Not only is the Book Sale an opportunity to indulge in your love for literature, but it also supports a worthy cause. The proceeds from the spring and fall Book Sales are used to fund grants by the Friends of the Library. These grants support Tompkins County Public Library and other libraries in the Finger Lakes region. Additionally, the funds aid local non-profit organizations in their literacy and reading projects, as well as provide scholarships for library science students. So, when you purchase a book at the sale, you’re not just expanding your collection; you’re also contributing to the growth of the literary community.
