The group’s lowest selling Number 1 is their X Factor winner’s single – a cover of Damien Rice’s Cannonball, which was a Top 40 hit for the folk musician in 2003. Placing 18th in their all-time Top 20, it’s a song Little Mix rarely acknowledge these days, but knowing that Simon Cowell likely didn’t even consider them show champions when selecting the winner’s single makes it slightly more palatable.

At Number 15, this collaboration with Swedish duo Galantis and David Guetta is Little Mix’s most recent addition to their all-time Top 20. Released shortly after their much-deserved BRIT Award win for Best Group in May 2021, this Europop banger is a close relative of their Number 1 smash Shout Out To My Ex – more on that one later…

Sweet Melody Official Chart peak: Number 1Released: 2020Combined sales: 801,000
Little Mix’s fifth and most recent Number 1, the super-charged Sweet Melody completed a ten-week climb to the summit in January 2021, reaching the top less than a month after Jesy Nelson’s depature. The track had serious legs, enjoying 30 weeks in the Top 100 – one of their longest runs on the chart – and already places 12th in their all-time Top 20. HairOfficial Chart Peak: Number 11Released: 2015UK chart sales: 927,000
Hair is the group’s biggest single to miss the Top 10, ranking ninth in their all-time Top 20, and in terms of chart sales, outperforms some of their higher charting efforts including Salute, Move, DNA and Word Up. Hair was first released as a teaser track ahead of their Get Weird album, before being upgraded to single status in 2016 with a new mix featuring Sean Paul.
WingsOfficial Chart peak: Number 1Released: 2012UK chart sales: 969,000
Little Mix’s first single proper was a life-affirming banger encouraging everyone to forget the haters and live their best life. It spent one week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart and has aged remarkably well, placing eighth on their Top 20 with 51 million streams logged to date, despite being released two years before streaming records began.
Secret Love SongOfficial Chart Peak: Number 6Released: 2015UK chart sales: 1.33 million
Little Mix’s biggest ballad ranks at Number 5 in their Top 20, with 1.4 million chart sales to date. The collaboration with Jason Derulo – who co-wrote the song – was apparently inspired by the group’s Radio 1 Live Lounge cover of his single Want To Want Me.
TouchOfficial Chart Peak: Number 4Released: 2016UK chart sales: 1.6 million
Despite missing the top spot, Touch is one of Little Mix’s most successful singles. The MNEK-produced track spent ten weeks in the Top 10, six of which were spent stuck at Number 4. The song places third in their all-time chart, and is also their third most-streamed hit, with a massive 150 million plays to date.

This joyous kiss-off anthem – released a few months after Perrie’s split from Zayn Malik, no less – charged straight in at Number 1 and spent three weeks there, shifting 95,000 chart sales in it’s opening week. It was also the only chart-topping single that year with a female lead – Girl Power indeed!

Little Mix’s biggest albums
When it comes to albums, Little Mix have shifted 3.6 million across their six records. 2017’s Glory Days finishes on top with a mighty 1.2 million chart sales, followed by 2015’s Get Weird on 929,000.
Their debut album DNA is approaching the half million mark with 470,000 combined sales, while their second collection Salute is fourth on 426,000. 2018’s LM5 is on 321,000, and finally 2020’s Confetti has so far racked up 221,000 chart sales.
